WEDNESDAY – Everyone can wear black to represent unity.
THURSDAY – Come dressed in your best outfit to celebrate jazz music.
FRIDAY – Wear yellow, red, or green to represent the different African flags, or wear African attire.
(It is also Western Day, so students may choose one theme or combine both themed days.)

CDC Return to School / Fever-Free Guidelines
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
🩹 When to Stay Home
• Students should stay home if they are sick with symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that could spread illness or prevent participation in school activities.
🌡️ Fever-Free Rule
• A child **can return to school when they have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medicine) for at least 24 hours.
• “Fever-free” means no fever without the use of medications like acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen.
👩⚕️ Other Considerations
• In addition to being fever-free, the person should:
• Be well enough to participate in school activities.
• Have other symptoms improved (like cough or congestion) — according to local health policies
