Parent support programs are designed to provide a support system to families; the goal is to lay a solid foundation for parents to strengthen existing parenting abilities and promote the development of new competencies.

Parenting support programs include workshops, parenting sessions, parent university, school committees, early support to families, and family involvement at all levels of the program.  Parenting programs also include various parenting activities, including parent and child playgroups, parenting materials, and support groups.
