Superintendent's letter to our student families.

Dear Families:

On behalf of Amigos Por Vida-Friends for Life Public Charter School, we want to reach out to you in solidarity during this uncertain and challenging time. We are your school, and we are grateful that you have trusted us with your children's education. As your Principal and Superintendent, I take the responsibility seriously, and I want to assure you that we as a school are working around the clock to accommodate our students’needs.

We want to share with you the multiple resources that are available to families at this time through various entities that have the means and are currently providing services in our beloved city of Houston. Please visit their websites using the links in this site. The majority of agencies count with representatives that speak Spanish; however, we are here to support you with any language barrier that you might encounter. We have established a team of employees that can be reached in case assistance is needed in translation. Please keep in mind that we can provide you with an overview of their services; however, we are not responsible for any changes or additions to these services. Because of confidentiality, you will have to contact the agencies personally.

Families, I encourage you to follow the orders that Harris County Judge Ms. Lina Hidalgo has put in place so that together we can combat this virus. Let’s all stay home, practice good hygiene and keep a positive state of mind.

Best Regards,
Freddy Delgado

Atentamente,
